Jeffrey T. Godin Ph.D., CSCS, HFPD, CISSN
Jeff has been active in the fitness industry for more than 15 years. Prior to earning his doctorate in Kinesiology/Exercise Science at the University of Connecticut he was a personal trainer in the Boston area. Presently he is an Associate Professor and the Chair of the Exercise and Sport Science Department at Fitchburg State College, where he has also managed the Fitness Center and designed strength and conditioning programs for the athletes. Jeff is former hockey and football player but now competes in triathlons, adventure races, and running races.

Tammy Godin
Tammy has been active in the fitness industry for 20 years. She has served in many capacities including aerobics instructor, personal trainer, dance instructor and manager. Currently she is pursuing her American College of Sports Medicine, Health Fitness Instructor credential.
Tammy is former ballet dancer but now competes in triathlons, adventure races, and running races.

Experience:
More than 20years of experience training and testing a wide range of individuals from professional hockey players, to age group triathletes, to weight conscious individuals, to older adults, to young adolescents.
 
As assistant professor in the Exercise Sciences, I have taught academic courses in Exercise Physiology, Exercise Metabolism, Sports Nutrition, Scientific Principles of Strength and Conditioning, Testing and Prescription, and Fitness Management for six years.
 
In addition, I have prepared hundreds of individuals through weekend courses for the NSCA CSCS and ACE Personal Training certifications.
 
And… we are athletes ourselves, competing in variety of endurance events including sprint and Olympic triathlons, half and full Ironman, adventures races, ultra marathons, marathons, 10K, 5k’s. We have also hiked a dozen of the 14,000 peaks in Colorado and completed numerous death marches in the White Mountains ( we define a death march as a hike over 12 hours). We can suffer with the best of them J & T
